In his professional life, Lindsay worked as a bookkeeper in the Business Services Division, at Mazars, the 6^th biggest auditing and accounting firm in South Africa for 2 years (2004 – 2005), specialising mainly in small and medium enterprise business. Performing various duties including financial reporting and compliance for a broad portfolio of clients on a monthly, periodic and annual basis, while employed at Mazars, decided to pursue the audit stream and completed 4 years (2006 – 2010) of articles (internship/training contract) at Mazars, transferring to the Audit Division. There Lindsay was exposed to various listed and small/medium enterprise businesses, performing various duties including financial reporting and planning, performing, finalising audit engagements, as well as supervising the audit engagement team and interact with audit clients.
